This small controversy has come up many times, but is it really certain that either Marcia Wallace wasn't in the episode to begin with or was edited out completely? I still think the woman you see from the back at about 57:00 looks a lot like her, because the hairstyle is like hers in some of the earliest BOB NEWHART SHOW episodes around a year later. If so, it would be a tiny role she was left with, but technically she would still be in it.
