I watched Short Fuse last night for the first time in at least 2 years. I found a ridiculously funny line.


When Rodger says to Columbo "You mean that heap out there is yours?" Columbo's response: "Yeah it needs a coat of paint doesnt it?" Cracks me up every time I watch this episode.

I enjoyed that , too. There are a lot of good ones referring to his car. I like the episode where he drives up to a movie studio and the security guard thought his car was for the 'demolition derby sequence'.

How about in negative reaction when he arrives at the junkyard? The cop is telling him that the junkyard was closed. Probably thinking that he was bringing that heap in. Then he couldn't get the **** thing started

When I see Short Fuse mentioned I also think of James Coburn in Fistful of Dynamite.
