I can vaguely remember as a kid that there was such a thing, a detective programme, but no details. I recently saw that it was by Levinson and Link and there were only a few episodes made. Can anyone remember it, was it any good, how long were the episodes, why was it scrapped?

I've never seen it, but I know it had James McKeachin (of Make Me A Perfect Murder and Etude In Black).

Yes, there are some short clips on youtube, but I couldn't find a full episode. I looked on Internet Archive, none there. I did watch a Mrs Columbo episode on there a few months ago though.
