What kind of a gym closes their doors at 6 in the evening when most people are just getting off work? That seems to be the time that people would go and work out the most.

(Of course G. Stafford was allegedly working out after hours too).

Maybe it was the weekend and they had early hours on Saturday/Sunday? Your point is valid, especially with modern gyms. However, keep in mind, this was in the 1970's, gym hours may have been different back then.

Yeah I think it was Saturday night because Milo had the party at his house that night.

I agree with John above that back in the '70's, people would rarely go work out on a Saturday night, it was party-time!

So great to find another Gretchen Corbett fan! Columbo certainly isn't the kind of show that I watch to enjoy beautiful women regularly, but Gretchen sure does it for me in the bikini in this episode! I've seen every minute of Columbo, and her few minutes in the bikini are my favorite!
