William Smith (Ken Nichols in "The Greenhouse Jungle")

I hate to be the first one to bring up one of THESE stories, but evidently we lost him just two days ago.
(I don't have a link for it, but the story should be easy to find.)

I always like the moment where he offers to hide in the back seat while Uncle Jarvis makes the ransom payoff.

Maybe you aren't supposed to like "gigolo" characters, but I can never help liking Ken, and William Smith really seems to slip right into the role.
