As I'm watching the above episode it suddenly occurred to me that the Ding-A-Ling ice cream company had to be a not so subtle inside joke. Earlier that year Chuck Berry had a hit with a cover of the outrageous song "My Ding-A-Ling". Anyone else notice that?

Or that is was the ding-a-ling of the clock in the box that was not in the phone call made from the phone booth.

I've never made the connection, but that song was a big hit as you say.
