Gena Rowlands 1930-2024

Sad news that Gena Rowlands has died aged 94. She pla*** Elizabeth Van Wick in the episode of Playback.
She was married to Peter Falk's close friend John Cassavetes and he directed Gena Rowlands and Peter Falk together in the film "A Woman Under The Influence".

This is sad. I thought she pla*** her part in the Columbo episode very well. Being friends with Peter Falk may have helped her performance as she was very natural and delivered on several levels, finding complexity with a supporting role; signs of a good actor.
