Killers who risk their own safety

I can't help wondering how many of them risk their own safety to commit the killing, and I don't just mean getting caught.

Maybe the most obvious one is Tommy Brown, who jumps from a plane in a homemade parachute.

Another one is Paul Galesko. Of course, he has more time to aim that gun than Tommy has to jump from that plane - and he doesn't even know that there's someone nearby, so that adds to the time as far as he knows - but he's still taking a chance by shooting himself in the leg at all.

One that never seems to occur to me is Hayden Danziger. I don't know anything about the stuff he uses to fake heart attack symptoms, but it seems to me that there has to be SOME kind of risk in using it.

Are there any others?

Re: Killers who risk their own safety

It doesn’t look very safe when Nora Chandler lights the gas on fire in “Requiem”. Luis Montoya also being briefly in the ring after releasing the bull might be unsafe.

Re: Killers who risk their own safety

Yes. I left out those two.

It's been pointed out that it looks like Anne Baxter herself is setting that fire (not a double), so that's also interesting.

Re: Killers who risk their own safety

Yes, I also noticed that about Baxter.

I thought of a few others:

Roger Stanford: always a risk messing with explosives.

Alex Benedict: he lingers a little while after the gas is on.

Eric Mason: the dogs could have turned on him.

Re: Killers who risk their own safety

Publish or Perish - it is always risky to hire guys like Eddie Kane :D

Re: Killers who risk their own safety

And to trick them.
Eddie could've smelled a rat before Riley could set up his "accidental" explosion.

Re: Killers who risk their own safety

maybe, Short Fuse? yes he's a chemistry expert but not a munitions expert, he could have blown himself up

that is the only one I could think of that hasn't been mentioned already

Re: Killers who risk their own safety

Yes.
