Every time I watch this episode I have to laugh and ponder something. In the Limo, Flanigan tells Kay that she "doesn't have to rush looking for a new position. We ll make it official at the end of the month."

Hell if I was getting the axe I sure wouldn't wait till the end of the month to find work. Maybe back then you could just pick another job off of a tree fast but not now for sure. I'd be rushing my butt off looking foe work.

That's true, I remember the phrase well but never thought of it like that, it takes so long to find a job that you have to start as soon as you're fired, even if the firing happens in a month.

Also, it looks like Flanagan forgave everything Kay did, except the fact she wanted to go replace Mark that soon after he died, so perhaps with some more patience she'd still be there.
