Robert Vaughn was my favorite! He worked really great with Peter Falk. Robert Vaughn should have done more “ Columbo “ films. The two he did were “Troubled Waters “ in 1975 and “ Last Salute to the Commodore” in 1976. I had an idea for a “ Columbo “ where Robert Vaughn plays a basketball coach who murders one of the players. “ Columbo and the Murder of a Basketball Star”. That is a thought I had that would probably work! They never did a “Columbo” about basketball. The two other actors Peter Falk worked best with was Clive Revill and Donald Pleasence. Thanks.
