Everybody relax. It's not him. This happens here every year or two.

For one thing, Peter is not internet-savvy -- he's a bit like Columbo that way. He has only seen email once that I know of, when somebody set up his account and showed it to him, and he does not like to be around computer monitors.

Peter's a fan of this site, because he heard about it then asked for a hard-copy -- which webmaster Steve sent to him, bound up like a book. Last I heard, he had it on his office coffee-table for visitors to flip through. But he doesn't surf the net.

Besides, I happen to know who it is. And it's not Headache (and it's not me). I won't completely spoil his/her jollies by outing him/her, but, trust me on this, guys. Fun is fun, but I hate to see anybody embarrass themselves.

Fellas, I love listening to this. I especially love the young detective minds evident in Ted, and Casavettes in that they approach everything from a very detective like approach, not to say that you have correctly solved this case. Yes, I do have a copy of the book on my desk that Steve send me but I have visited my email account so many times, and I have watched over this site for a while to see when it was appropriate to write, I think I could not handle keeping quite anymore. I know I don't sound like myself but, maybe its my old age. Back once again, I love this forum and thank all who contribute in making it a success. Hope to see your future posts.

I am glad that the 2 of you guys and everyone else has been trying to solve this elusive mystery but unlike all the episodes I played in, this episode has a simpler solution then you would think, I am lieutenant Columbo, not someone just visiting this forum. But I am proud that you don't let your old man down and keep this a Columbo like detective, just don't forget to say, Just One more thing.

I am completly confused. I don't know what has happened. Did the main man himself wrote this message or someone else pertaining to be Lt. Columbo. If it was him why didn't he go into greater details about his realtionship with cassevetes and the rest of the show. This just might just end in a case that will never be solved. But someday hopefully we might find out the whole story. If Ted said it is Colujmbo we just have to accept it. He did get to meet the main man one the view.

And if Ted is right, which of course he is (Peter Falk would know the difference between quiet and quite), that means I don't have to walk down the street naked. Actually, with the heat here in Manchester right now, I am tempted to do it anyway
