Having just watched guest director Quentin Tarantino direct an episode of CSI, I wondered what people thought of the idea of Tarantino doing something similar with an episode of Columbo.
I think that it could actually work out quite well. Tarantino's strength has always been his dialogue and Columbo relies on plot and dialogue over action.
I think it would be cool and could work: Columbo's constant chatting about his domestic affairs and food and anything else reminds of the great Quarter Pounder Vs. Royale scene in Pulp Fiction. Be great to have the villain be Christopher Walken, Harvey Keitel, or Samuel Jackson, though I wouldn't see it happening.
