Bertie's Life Insurance

In Bye-Bye Sky Hi..it always struck me odd that the one "genius" guy was explaining to Columbo that Bertie actually commited suicide...but he wanted to make it look like he was murdered so the life insurance company would pay. But in an earlier scene Oliver Brandt is talking to his wife and he says to her that Bertie had "no one".....so who would be collecting his insurance money??? His cats????

(I know this is a a boring post but I am on vacation and we are having a heck of a thunderstorm right now...and frankly...I'm bored!!! )

Re: Bertie's Life Insurance
