THE TOWERING INFERNO COLUMBO REUNION

Watched The Towering Inferno for the first time in years yesterday and it was like a Columbo Reunion party. Alongside the greats that were and are Steve McQueen and Paul Newman were none other than Faye Dunaway, Robert Vaughn, Dabney Coleman and Ross Elliott, who played Dr Landberg in one of the all-time classics, Forgotten Lady. I half expected Columbo to show up anytime and nab Dunaway, Vaugn and Coleman in one foul swoop. Silly thoughts, but it made me chuckle. I think I need to get out more.

Re: THE TOWERING INFERNO COLUMBO REUNION

Not silly at all, Rob.

Another movie that comes to mind.....one I haven't seen in years......is Voyage of the ****ed...it starred...
Faye Dunaway
Oskar Werner
Lee Grant
Julie Harris
Nehemiah Persoff
Jose Ferrer
and as honorable mentions....Ben Gazzara (2 time Columbo director)...and Orson Welles (so prominently mentioned in How to Dial a Murder.
