Thanks for your reply. Watching the clip was an added treat, since I have yet to obtain a copy of this episode and have not seen it in many years. The character Columbo is great, with his unique kind of dazed brillance.

Easily the best and funniest moment in any Columbo episode. The speed he flies past Bob Dishy is hilarious. Peter could have really injured himself doing this, and bet he came away with a few bruises. So what does Bravo do?, they edit this out of the episode to make way for commercials! Plonkers.
