Great workhorse actor of the glory days of TV, the
1960's and 70's. I have him on tape in the Rockford Files (BTW the first season will be released on DVD in December) as a hardnosed police Captain who is harrassing Rockford

Woops, pushed the wrong button...I meant to continue that Cooper also appeared as a criminal pretending to be a Catholic priest, using this as a cover to set up a jewel heist in "Kojak". Of course, he was great in Columbo as the corrupt candidate for senator in "Candidate for Crime". As I understand, he was a naval officer in the Second World War. Great actor!
