He was actually on today! I just heard it on the 'listen again' thing and you can only fast forward by about two minutes each time, but he's on it at about 2 and a half hours into the program if anyone wants to listen (there's dedication for you!) I guess you can listen to it in America too as it's on the web.

He talked a bit about Patrick McGoohan - praised him to the skies and said he does a lot of script rewriting for free, which I didn't know. Also said he's writing a book - his autobiography I think - which he wants to call 'Just One Last Thing' (no surprises there then) although some people wanted him to name it after a song I've never heard of.

I gather his new film's out (The Thing About My Folks) in America - what's it like? I guess you guys over there will have seen it?

I like reading this forum - never post as I never know any answers to questions or can add anything worth saying, so this is a nice change!

Hello A. J. and Jenny. Thanks for the information. I'll see if I can get myself to wade through that radio show to get to Peter Falk. And as Cassa said Jenny, by all means, post whatever your sweet mind comes up with! We all tend to ramble on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on 'til we start to foam at the mouth and fall over backwards.

Go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/wright/ and then click on 'Tue' just below the words 'Steve Wright' at the top, next to 'Listen Again'. As Jenny said you have to skip to the last bit of the show and you can only skip in 15 min intervals.

I finally got to listen to it. It was really good. I have always thought that he seemed like such a sweet man...and this interview reinforces that. He is polite and funny and so down to earth. As Jenny said, he really talks Patrick McGoohan up...and rightfully so. I know he is plugging his movie but it was nice to hear him talk so much about Columbo.
I'm already on line to buy his book!
