I am in need of a favor for some information for
one
of Columbos TV Movies, The title is: Make Me A
Perfect Murder made back in 1978. The one where
Miss
Freestone kills her boss/lover.
Towards the end of the movie when he is looking
for Miss Freestone in an amusement parks
merry-go-round house there is music playing for
it,
I have been trying to name that tune for a while
now
and not have had any luck. I even recorded it and
played it for anyone who was willing to listen. I
would just like to get the whole song so I can
play
it and enjoy the tune.
Thanks for your help!!!
I forgot to mention if you would like I can send a bit of the tune over to whoever would like to listen to give it a try at naming the tune. Just let me know your email address so I can do so.
Thanks.
Thanks YM!! I have been trying to name that tune for a while now, In which part of By Dawns Early Light was it played in?
I will go and give a listen @ J.P.S. es website.
Thanks for the advice.
As I recall, it is heard in a scene outdoors where Columbo is talking to
Col Rumford. Cadets are marching around
and we hear this tune in the background.
(I am not 100% sure if Rumford is in the
scene or not along with Columbo). This is somewhere in the middle of the episode.
OK. I will have to keep an eye out for when the next time the show pops up around here, it's only on 2 days a week here.
What's your favorite episode? Mine is Troubled Waters!! Ship or a Boat!!! I know, the He-- with it!!
Love them Sousa marches! I first got introduced to them in Navy bootcamp in the '60's. I know I'm prejudiced, but there's nothing more stirring then seeing sailors marching in formation, with their dress blues and white leggings! Still gives me goosebumps, and proud to be an American
