Have I found a Short Fuse Goof?

Watched this the other day and this concerned me.

Final cable car scene. With respect to the cigar box. Not quite sure on the sequencing but Junior opens the cable car sliding doors. Junior panics and cigars spread all over the floor. From here in, each time the camera view is from Juniors perspective then the doors appear open, but each time the camera perspective is from behind Columbo, looking at Junior, the doors appear shut as there is no shaft of sunlight on the cable car floor!

I may have this wrong, but what do you think??

Re: Have I found a Short Fuse Goof?

I don't know, i'll have to watch it. You're saying that from Juniors perspective you can see a shaft of sunlight but from Columbos you can't? If that's the case, good catch! Can't wait to watch it tonight.

Re: Re: Have I found a Short Fuse Goof?

Steve - I'm offering the absence of sunlight as proof the doors are shut, to me it almost appears as though the scences viewed from Columbo's perspective were shot in a studio, though I doubt that was the case.

Re: Re: Re: Have I found a Short Fuse Goof?

You can clearly see that the sunlight is different
in the two different shots, but in my opinion, BOTH
were filmed in a studio.
