I noticed a while ago that it says in the quiz page on this site that Columbo speaks more than two foriegn languages. He speaks Italian obviously, and is heard to in Murder Under Glass and Identity Crisis among others (although, he says he doesn't in Strange Bedfellows.) I think we hear him speak Spanish at the funeral scene with the old couple in Undercover, although I'm not certain as I'm less familiar with the ABC episodes. Can anyone think what other foriegn languages he speaks?

He certainly didn't speak Spanish very
well in "A Matter of Honor". He complained that the Mexican weather bureau wrote its reports in Spanish!

maybe the other language was 'columboese'?!
