'Columbo' fans might get a kick out of Woody Allen's new film 'Match Point' -- it plays rather like an episode of our favourite show, albeit one dealing almost exclusively with the guest star!

It's a terrific movie in and of itself but the similaries to 'Columbo' were very interesting (both are based on 'Crime and Punishhment' after all).

I read an article today in tomorrow's Sunday Chicago Tribune about "Match Point". I think I should like to see it. The article mentions two interesting detectives who come into the story late in the film. This movie is supposed to be one of Allen's best.
