Just watched the DVD of an old fav..."Duel", there's a couple of features, the most interesting was an interview with Steven Spielberg in which he talks about his early tv career. He has some fond memories of Columbo.

Yeah,"Spiel" burg In Deed, but it's interesting that you should bring up the movie, because I was just chatting with a friend about it yesterday in reference to the road-rage portion of a Rockford Files episode ["The Dark and Bloody Ground"] that could easily have been mistaken for it.

That included some of the same (unmistakable) audio tracks and film sequences no doubt captured on the very same sections of highway, but it's all in the Universal house anyway.
