Danzinger Must Have Been D-U-M-B

Troubled Waters note:

Mr. Danzinger not only hid the gloves with his fingerprints on them, but consider that Columbo already knew that one pair of gloves was missing from the hospital. Now since he tells Danzinger the "glove" story, wouldn't it be dumb for him to remove yet another set from the same place??? And if you look closely at the fire hose, he left his own fingerprints all over the door etc. nice job. But I think that Robert Vaughn did a terrific job of portraying Danzinger

Re: Danzinger Must Have Been D-U-M-B

Robert Vaughn also did a nice job as Charles Clay in "Last Salute to the Commodore." A lot of people don't care for that episode, but I liked it.

Re: Re: Danzinger Must Have Been D-U-M-B

Another thing puzzles me...we see that
Danzinger was watching Columbo when
he went into the pool filter to pull out
the plastic capsules he used to fake
his seizure. Thus, he would have to
conclude that Columbo was on to him...
thus when Columbo was "simply airing out
his thoughts" saying all he needed to
pin the murder on Lloyd Harrington was
to find the gloves, wouldn't he have
realized that Columbo was really
trying to maneuver him into incriminating
himself?
However, I agree that Robert Vaughan was
super and this is one of my very favorite
episodes...."Last Salute", on the other hand......
