Columbo Word Association Game

Ok....I'm going out on a limb here, and this will either fly as an ongoing thread..or it will dive bomb into the sea!
Someone says a word or 2 or 3 etc.. and then the next person says the first thing that comes to mind....as in the word association game in How to Dial a Murder.
Obviously the words have to be Columbo related....it could be anything at all..an actor, an episode title, a character, a prop, a clue...anything at all that relates to Columbo..

Ok..I'll start...

Cassavetes

( Where else did you think I would start???)

Re: Columbo Word Association Game

The very first thing I thought of was...

"Typewriter".

Odd, eh?

Re: Re: Columbo Word Association Game

Typewriter?

Well anyway, typewriter leads me to Jack Cassidy ("Now you see Him").

Re: Re: Re: Columbo Word Association Game

Ok, I say cigarette.

Re: Columbo Word Association Game

Caution: Murder Can Be Hazardous To Your Health

Re: Columbo Word Association Game

The first thing I thought of when I saw "Cassavetes" was "purple" (the color of the carnation).

Now, for my reaction to "Caution: Murder Can Be Hazardous to your Health":

The "DANGER" sign on the door to the basement in "The Most Dangerous Match."

Re: Columbo Word Association Game

Robbie-the-Robot in Mind Over Mayhem.

(remember Lost in Space with the same robot?? "Danger Will Robbinson!!")

Re: Re: Columbo Word Association Game

The "Mind" in "Mind Over Mayhem" leads to
"The Bye Bye Sky High I.Q. Murder Case."

Re: Columbo Word Association Game

(fred, do you get the point of this game? how can i respond to that answer of yours??? )
ok..i'll just reply by saying the episode it was from and then we can carry on from there.

Re: Columbo Word Association Game

...picnic table (from Identity Crisis)

And Cass, different robots, but Robby the Robot appeared in many sci-fi films and television shows over the years. Interestingly, he debuted in Forbidden Planet(1956) which starred Anne Francis and Leslie Neilson, both of whom later played on Columbo. BTW Forbidden Planet is basically a remake of Shakepeares The Tempest.

Re: Columbo Word Association Game
