Re: Question on Murder, Smoke & Shadows

There's some idiot that thinks the "194" by which Columbo is referred in "A Friend in Deed" is Columbo's call number. That person doesn't realize that that was not his car he was using. His car wasn't working, and he was using a department car. That is to what the 194 referred...not Columbo. I would think that would be obvious.

Interesting but not on my topic

Re: Question on Murder, Smoke & Shadows

Hmmm....seems to me there is some other episode -- I must have a note about it in the vast Ultimate Columbo Archives, at home -- which does identify Columbo's call number, as we hear Columbo getting "paged" from his police radio. It's one of the earlier episodes, I believe.

Re: Question on Murder, Smoke & Shadows

Brian, I agree! But Abigail should never have put the keys in the cigarette ash in the first place!!!

Re: Question on Murder, Smoke & Shadows

and santini should have never left that typewriter ribbon in the typewriter....and i won't even go into alex benidict's foolishness of leaving that flower behind!!!!!!!!!!

hey mike..if i could comment on the episode you speak about i would...but i never saw it...sorry...

hopefully some one who has seen it will comment in kind..........

Re: Re: Question on Murder, Smoke & Shadows

And a better title for Agenda for Murder would be "Columbo Cuts the Cheese".

Perhaps the nails in the heel partly disintegrated. There were burn marks.

For me that's a fun episode. I love where he goes into the "boys'club" and finds Columbo playing with the electric trains.
