Ok no-one noticed my wrong badge number earlier...and all you people call yourselves Columbophiles...

The recognizable theme from Dragnet is used in Columbo.....

.....in Murder with Too Many Notes, Findlay Crawford, at an exceptionally poignant and reflective moment,plays the DUM-DE-DUM-DUM on a keyboard as he realizes the menacing threat Columbo apparently poses for him.

The music was like a piece of dialogue...adding an exclamation point to the moment in the film.

I wonder if Columbo will be buried with LA Police honors like I was.
