Why is Jesse Jerome, in "Now You See Him," so sweaty?
i've always wondered that too....maybe it was a combination of the wine and the shrimp!!
He has evil in his pores and it must find a way out.
And it's a clue to where he was sitting prior to his undoing! Joe
Also, I think it provides a contrast to, and thus reinforces, how cool and collected Santini is in the planning and execution of the murder. By stressing Santinis skill and confidence it gives more room for doubt as to whether Columbo can nail him.
Steve, that's an excellent point. It makes sense.
Thanks Laura
