That's been the question ... will they combine the two or issue season 6 with a boatload of secondary Universal property? Personally, season 5 completed my Columbo library, but that remains flexible until I (we all) find out what they do.

I, for one, would like to have them all.

There probably isn't one episode that at least somebody doesn't find with.

Also, with the exception of the apparent universal dislike of No Time to Die, there isn't one episode that at least somebody doesn't love.

That's correct Bob ... these were made-for-TV presentations, and you can be sure they were produced more in respect to a deadline than the scrutiny of fans 35 years later, but since the studios were pumping them out in such a furious pace, I'd say they deserved credit for leaving the kind of faults a viewer must look for (and ponder on) to realize -- whether by design or not.

We have to remember that these shows were made back in the days when we had to hope for repeats to see an episode more than once, and only professionals had access to things like video tape gear.

It is fun to find a goof though, and like most folks, I'm the first one in line to speak up about it unless I knew it was common knowledge.
