Jack Warden

Hello everybody, I have returned! It feels good to be back. Sad news Jack Warden has died, he was 85. He was an overlooked actor in my opinion. He and Peter Falk were both in "The Great Muppet Caper". I really liked Jack Warden a lot. He was a great actor , he will be missed.

I hope Peter Falk will do another "Columbo" movie , I have heard nothing yet. Peter Falk has some movies in the can they are

1. Retirement
2. The Book of Joe
3. Checking Out
4. Next

I hope Peter Falk is healthy and happy in life, he is a really great actor in my opinion. Rest in peace Jack Warden , you're work in movies really meant a lot to me.

Re: Jack Warden

victoria, jack was absoulutely terrific in a very small film called 'edge of the city'. it starred sidney poitier and john cassavetes. jack was the overbearing boss of the 2 of them as they worked on a loading dock. it is a gem of a movie. the ending is just fantastic.
he was a wonderful actor...and he will be missed....

Re: Re: Jack Warden

Jack Warden was in one of my favorite movies "12 Angry Men", which also had Columbo veteran John Fiedler, along with Jack Klugman, Robert Webber, Lee J Cobb, E G Marshall. The film is about the deliberations of a jury in a death penalty case. Warden's character kept complaining that they were taking too long in reaching a decision because he had tickets to a ball game!

Re: Re: Re: Jack Warden

The passing of Jack Warden is very sad news. If I am not mistaken, Jack Klugman is now the only surviving of the "12 Angry Men."
