Never got the whole Patrick McGoohan thing. I think his voice puts me off. Ever hear the rumour that he started believing he actually was number 6 during filming of "The Prisoner"?

Had you ever paused to read that laughable ID card? I mean, that was boxtop kid stuff even 35 years ago, and even delivered by "Larry Tate" from Bewitched of all familiar people!

McGoohan performed well as Rumford, but that's likely because the actor had never worked around so many young men in any other project, not because the role inspired him. I'm just glad he did.

You have to love the way he says "Steinmetz!" when seeing the police sketch.

I also find it amusing the way he rolls his "r"'s in "Identity Crisis"...as in "I had it rrrrremoved" and "Don't harrrrrass me."
