Does anyone else ever wonder why certain people post here under certain names?

Why Milo Janis? Why Karl Donner? Why Great Santini? Why William Haynes? Etc. ?

Cassavetes seems self-confessed.

But what do these others see in themselves that prompt their choice of hidden identity?

Is Milo Janis a health nut? Does he/she love carrot juice? Is Hard Bolied Egg symbolic of something?

What do you think?

They probably just find it interesting to use names of their favourite guest appearances, perhaps.On music forums people also often use combinations of names of their favourite artists.

Noting sinister about it, I assure you.

I never alter my email address, but I do like to use monikers endearing to the show for the forum fun of it, not to pacify an identity crisis.

In fact, I usually don't change names until I clear out my cookie files, and then I have no choice, so don't let it spark a negative reaction.

I can see that for Karl Donner it's a matter of honor.

And for Cassavetes45...she just doesn't want to be a forgotten lady !

I've wondered that myself. Perhaps they see something in themselves similar to the character referenced. Where's Sigmund Freud when you need him?

Milo Janis probably sees himself as Mr.Cool and Composed. Santini: trying to fool us on some point??? I dunno !!!

But also, if I posted under a pseudonym, I don't think I would want ot tell.

OH the humanity!!! OH the agony!!!

If I were to take the name of a TV character,
I would use "Krubm" who was a character in
an episode of the Rockford Files, naturally
due to the strange spelling. Rockford is trying
to pronounce the name he sees on a nameplate,
but the fellow tells him it is pronounced
"krumm-the "b" is silent".

um...so does anyone want to know why i use the name i do?

Well I post as Fielding because I acknolwedge the genius of Shatner! I guess I'm a frustrated Columbo villian or star ship captain - never really worked out which!
