Bellydancers and Asian women

I was at the public library recently, and noticed (happily) that they have purchased the first 3 seasons of Columbo on DVD (our levy tax money being wisely spent). When I sat down to watch them I realised that I love the retro look of the series-the clothes, cars, record players, the music etc.. After watching episode after episode, I noticed that there is a chemistry between Columbo and Asian women, as well as bellydancers. Am I crazy?

Re: Bellydancers and Asian women

I wouldn't call it crazy.

Re: Bellydancers and Asian women

Heheheh reminds me when Columbo mixes Japanese and Spanish

"Sayonara . . . si. What a lovely girl."

Re: Re: Bellydancers and Asian women

I think the chemistry is due to Columbo being sort of unworldly and sophisticated, and upon meeting someone of a different background as himself, he is fascinated and wants to be respectful and courtesy and not make waves. The same with being in different suroundings, such as on the cruise ship. They all show his humbleness, which endears him to us all.
