Chief Inspector Hubbard to Sir Roger Haversham

I just got through watching "Dial M for Murder" (1954), and John Williams plays an excellent sleuth.

He even utters the "Oh just one more thing sir" line a few times himself. It's an engrossing film with a strange conclusion, but I suppose that's what Hitchcock had in mind.

Interesting to note that the movie also stars Ray Milland, and that both actors appear in Columbo episodes in the 2nd season.

Too bad Grace Kelly did not guest star on "Columbo." She would have made a decent murderess.

Re: Chief Inspector Hubbard to Sir Roger Haversham

she definitely would have david! but the only problem would be that i would be so enraptured by how beautiful and elegant she was and i would miss the whole plot!!

Re: Chief Inspector Hubbard to Sir Roger Haversham

I love Grace Kelly, and I agree she would have made a wonderful but mezmerizing murderess!!!

She certainly went through a transformation in "High Noon", when she finally picked up that gun.
