Things that shouldn't immediately make you think of Columbo, but do anyway...
1) I was in a doctor's waiting room, and on the CD they were playing for background music, came a male singer (Nat King Cole?) singing "Walking My Baby Back Home." Of course, I immediately replace the voice with a chorus, and think of the opening to a certain movie...
2) The Comedy Central Roast of William Shatner had a montage of his work, past and present, at the beginning. I immediately start watching to see if either of his Columbo episodes show up (they don't ).

#My uncle-he's very similar to columbo, not especially tall, confused and walks in exactly the same way.Besides he likes to talk and talk and talk, not so much about relatives, but about technology & science. He thinks he knows everything.

Two things:
1) A few days ago when I was opening a box of doughnuts, I had a flashback to Columbo opening the box of cigars in the cable car in "Short Fuse."
2) Today I substitute taught a music class, and I had Alex Benedict on my mind all day. I tried to take attendance, enforce the seating chart, pass out the busy work, and guard the musical equipment ("Don't touch the harp!") in a way that would have made Alex proud.
