I felt sorry for him but then he blew it!

Hugh Creighton in Murder of a Rock Star - hadn't seen this one in years - was quite a sympathetic character a the beginning of the episode and I saw him as suffering from being an older man married to a younger woman. But after that scene with the aprking ticket and his ridiculous lawyer friend from Idaho he became an arrogant ***t

Any views? Oh and I could always visualise him as Jerry Caesar from Dragnet throughout this episode!

Re: I felt sorry for him but then he blew it!

Hugh Creighton was arrogant from the get-go in my opinion. So into himself because he had never lost a murder case. in fact, in the first scene, we hear him call Columbo "Columbus" Then he demands seeing the file, performs his own interpretatoin at the morgue. Oh yeah, he was an arrogant ***** from the beginning.
