Re: Re: "If looks could kill . . ."

* The look Margaret gave to Leslie Williams in "Ransom For a Dead Man" in response to "Where will all your friends be then when you haven't the money to buy them anymore?" Nasty remark.

* The look Helen Stewart gave Columbo in "Dead Weight" after he asked her if she had been drinking that afternoon.

* The stare of Beth Chadwick upon Columbo playing with her mother's dog in the conference room during "Lady in Waiting" as the tension toward the climax was building. (Well-directed episode. Acting was superb.)

Someone else take over. I am too lazy to go beyond Season 1 tonight.........

You're also too lazy to read the original question! It said "the murderer gave to the victim, not Columbo"

Re: "If looks could kill . . ."

Vera Miles to Martin Sheen, when she realizes he's been toying with her (and with her ego), by making her think he wanted HER as part of his payment.

Re: Re: "If looks could kill . . ."

Martin Sheen's character evidently hadn't seen her famous "Outer Limits" episode, or he'd have known she wasn't to be trifled with like that. (She might've been more of a "damsel-in-distress" in the second half of Psycho, but she was very formidable in that Outer Limits.)
