In addition to the aforementioned proclamation from Governor Blagojevich, INBA also received a very nice proclamation from Springfield Mayor Tim Davlin, declaring Saturday "Illinois News Broadcasters Association Day" in Springfield.

INBA past president Ernie Slottag - now with the city of Springfield - was on hand at our board meeting to present the proclamation.

And, we received a letter from Senator Dick Durbin congratulating INBA on our golden anniversary.

Thank you to Governor Blagojevich, Mayor Davlin and Senator Durbin for recognizing INBA's 50th anniversary...and, a special thank you to Ernie Slottag for braving the ugly weather to present the proclamation in person.
