Senator Obama yesterday was in Lincoln for a town hall meeting. I wanted to know his position on Federal Shield after Steve's post Tuesday.

I asked him three times what his position was, one time making sure I mentioned the INBA letter asking his position, each time I was IGNORED.

A staff member says, "we'll get back with you." I'm still waiting.

IMHO, after being back here 6 months and not knowing anything about him, can someone tell me why he gets such softball-pitch news coverage? I see a slick message giver but can't handle the fastball question.

I ain't that impressed. Steve, I tried to carry the water for us with him, sorry I came back with an empty bucket.
