Looks like Jeff Kent will get the last laugh yet. Kent and Bonds were teammates for 6 seasons with the Giants, 1997-2002.
While Kent was with the Giants he was a hard working team player and he played the game the same way, hard. He would eventually break the all-time HR record for second basemen, ending with a total of 377.
He was an All Star 5 times, the NL MVP in 2000 with a line of 33-125-.334 . Career line is 377-1522-.290
Now that he is no longer a Dodger I can remove the "Hate Tag" from his back. After viewing his stats and remembering what kind of ballplayer he was, I truely believe he will beat Bonds to the Hall of Fame.
