Can any of you guys on the west coast explain what happened to the Seattle ballclub? 5 of 11 of us (me included) picked them to win the AL West.

Bob, it's just too bad is all. Near the very top in pitching, last in hitting plus lots of errors. Last year we were a really good defense ballclub with awesome relief and Aardsma did well. Now (and with Mark Lowe out) a shakey bullpen and what I said previously.

Figgy hasn't quite been himself as you know but there were high expectations for sure. Our leading power hitter is the cancerous Bradley... No relief, lots of errors and no hitting means the starters have to go deep in all games to have a chance it seems. I guess it will be interesting to see if we can get back some of the same caliber prospects we traded for Lee when we trade him soon...
