I was just looking at an "IRS in the news" article here at IRS. Having some extra time in an advantage of being a week from retirement.

Anyway ... the article pointed out that the timing of the Steinbrenner death will save the family about a half Billion (with a "B") dollars because the Bush tax cuts completely eliminated estate tax in 2010.

I wonder how active the NYY will be in FA bidding because of the "extra" money?
