Almost all my pitchers double and I don't want to play Vaz.. Really the five guys I want all double.. I could play Vargas I guess but can I put any 5 guys in and name my 3 doubles for next week? Take a look at my messed-up roster, you'll see what I mean..
I want to go Carp, C.C. Pineda and the first starts of the other Maholm for now..Barring any last-second news).
But the real question I guess is "do I HAVE to play someone just because they are the only pitcher(s) on my roster to have a single start?
I for one am looking forward to an all-star re-tooling of the pitching lineups.
Kelly, I did check out your roster and I see what you are talking about.
The rules do state that you can not start a 4th (or 5th) 2X SP just to get his first start points.
If you do not want to start Vazquez I would recommend doing an Add/Drop tonight to pick up a new 1X SP for week #14.
This won't happen next season when we will be going with 8 starts, with each owner selecting his best 8 each week.
