The Nats pitching is pretty good and will only get better with the return of Stasberg. Wang is looking good as are Zimmermann and Lannon. They have 2 good kids in Peacock and Milone.

Clearly their offense needs big help. It is one of the worst in MLB. Zimmerman is a top flight 3b and Ramos has good numbers for a C that was splitting the role half the year. Morse was a stud in 2011 and hopefully is real. Their middle IF seems OK for those positions and Werth is OK if you forget the amount he is paid.

That leaves one OF & 1b to improve. I assume the OF is Harper at some point next year. LaRouch will come back but frankly is not going to add much IMO.

Does anyone other than me think they might go "all in" after Pujols or Fielder? The owner is one of the richest in MLB but will they do what it takes?
