Power went out Sat. 2PM came back on Wed AM.It was 40 degrees at night.Have a great neighbor who is a contractor who set up a generator but still couldn't get the heat above 50 so I spent the days at his house.Meals included.Albina was working 3-11 so I'd come home when she got here.A couple of comforters & it was 80 under the covers.Today was 1st day on the computer,had 135 e-mails & over 200 junks.Albina said this was nothing compared to growing up in Siberia.

Ted....I really feel sorry for all the discomfort for you and your fellow New Englanders. Wow, 3 million people at one time and it takes a week to get every one back on power. Let's cut out all aid to those not in the USA and spend the money buring (sp) the electric lines below ground. Lets start in New Jersey and Conn.

Inlaws are up in Conn. They still don't have power. His job at one of the big insurance firms is feeding all the workers breakfast and lunch and giving them a box dinner to take home for the family for free.
