Probably because we don't have a long history of players having success at the MLB level, we Oregon State fans keep track of this kind of stuff. If the Mets can get it done and win the WS, Conforto will become the third Beaver with a ring. Ellsbury - Red Sox and Susac - Giants are the other two. I don't always watch all of the World Series but this year our family will be watching as much as we can.

I know you've been following Conforto for a while now. You shouldn't be letting on that you care so much about him, it might cost you a higher draft pick to get him next season.

BTW, where did he grow up? Where did he go to high school?

He grew up and went to high school in Redmond Washington which is just outside Seattle.

I didn't want to ask if you plan on keeping him.
