Looks like Cueto turned down D-backs because they only offered $120 M and he is looking for $140 to $160M. I don't know if I would want to play for D-backs because the heat, the hitter's park or lack of clear playoff hope but the money sure would not be the issue. I venture to say that even after taxes and an agent's share it would be very hard to find something I wanted or wanted to do that could not be done for $120M that could be for $160M.
