i have been diagnosed with pnd since baby born , 9month ago, been on antidepressants since he was 6wks old. just started citalopram 20mg a few days ago and not sure if i should continue. im paranoid, tiared, moody, stressed, upset and basically worse than ever any tips of what to do next!

hi. sorry to hear you are feeling worse on new meds but sometimes it takes a while for your system to adjust to meds,,,, i know i started on effexor at the start and it made me ten times worse, after a week of feeling agitated, angry, like a fuse ready to blow i went back to gp who changed me onto lustral, it suited me better, not as bad siade effects but took 3 dose adjustments to level me out, all i can offer to you is take time... if the meds are really making you worse ask to have them changed there are lots of different drugs on the market... just remember that you will get better...
