I just started looking recently for help with pnd. I had thought something wasn't quite right awhile ago but was too embarrassed and felt weak to admit I needed help. That said,I did go to the doctors before Xmas to say I wasn't feeling right. Although I wasn't lost in the system, the treatment I did receive wasn't helpful. Perhaps because I wasn't completely honest with them.

Now, things only seem to feel as if they are getting worse. My baby is 10 months now and instead of feeling better I feel more and more depressed.

I don't think I can help you since I can not help my self, but maybe having someone to talk to could help?

Hi - I was diagnosed when my baby was 6 months - I went to the doctors quite soon, after my hubby started noticing symptoms which I wasn't hiding very well. I found that support wasn't great! I have now been on citilopham for 6 months and just started therapy....
I still have good days and bad days, and i still get very low and tearful but I think that its going to get better!!
I have been told that i would feel worse before better, espesh as i am now having therapy! So don't worry if things aren't instantly better, but if you really don't think its getting better go back!
