I am in the process of renovating an old kit built Miracle from the late seventies and would like some advice on the best self bailer or if one is even needed. The boat had two drain bungs in the transom but doubt these would be any good for draining water when sailing.The renovation includes a new transom so the drain bungs could be made bigger and therefore possible use as bailers when under way. All and any ideas welcome.
