The ABC' s of Magical Creatures - R is for Red Cap

Hi All,
From A-Z, magical creatures abound. This forum might be a great place to learn about them. This information was gathered from www.dreamcrows.com.

The RedCap is reknowned and named after the act of dipping their caps in human blood. They originate in Scotland, and are said to live in castles with a violent history, or old ruins or towers. They throw rocks and boulders onto unwary travellers, and colour their caps with the victim's blood.

I forgot to mention that a Red Cap is faerie it origin is Scotland.
